Origins and becoming: All that really matters is now.

I’ve had many names, many roles, and many decisions to make in my life. All of them were ironically linked in ways I’d not understand until I could look back. The bottom line is that, at the end of the day, no matter our origin stories, heartbreaks, trauma, delights, magical childhoods, or whatever the case may be, we simply are US.

I am me. You are you. And we are we.

Simple, right?

It’s worth considering what history, heartbreak, or stories may be keeping you from becoming. I know that for me, after years of “figuring it out,” trying to “get it right,” and trying to understand it all, little of it matters. What matters is how I use my learning, my wisdom, and my curiosity to be here now and lead into the future.

If you let go of your story and who you think you are and what you think or do not think you can be because of whatever is behind you, who are you really?

If you let yourself have this, you’re bound to find some gold.

Let it go. Be here now. Begin again. And again. And again.
